Phillips 66 Announces One-Call Elite Partners

Every six minutes, an underground utility is damaged—making improper digging one of the leading causes of pipeline damage. But many excavators should be recognized for doing their part to dig safely by calling 811 to have buried utilities located and marked before digging every time.

Each year, Phillips 66 Pipeline LLC (Phillips 66) receives approximately 150,000 requests for line location. Through its One-Call Elite Partner Program, Phillips 66 has recognized those companies that have the most frequent One-Call tickets submitted nearest our areas of operation and suffer no known One-Call process errors that result in our company’s involvement.

As 2017 draws to a close, we are proud to announce this year’s One-Call Elite Partners. These excavators were not conducting work for Phillips 66, but during 2016 they called before digging near our pipelines, completed their work near those assets without damage and typically accounted for at least 2.5 percent of all One-Call tickets submitted in the state where they were working.

This year, all recognized companies will receive a plaque for display in their office, materials to help them publicize their recognition as a One-Call Elite Partner and a reference on the Phillips 66 Pipeline website.

If you are an excavator, you can increase your chances of becoming a One-Call Elite Partner by always calling 811 before starting any job planning or work.
